Master Sergeant Gerardo "Jerry" Soto, TXARNG-Ret


MSG(R) Soto served in the Air Force for four years including a combat tour in Vietnam. He also served in combat during Operation Desert Storm.

He served in the Texas Army National Guard in many important assignments.

Those include the Army G3 as a Special Projects NCO, Assistant Operations Sergeant, JOC Battle Captain and Mobilization NCO. He served in the Texas National Guard Headquarters as a Drug Deman Reduction Program Specialist, Alcohol and drug Control Officer, Recruiting and Retention Administrative NCO, Environmental Training Coordinator and NCOES Instructor and Senior Budget Analyst.

His numerous awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, and National Defense Service Medal with 3 Service stars.

He is married to Victoria and lives in Georgetown, Texas with their son Christian. He attended San Antonio College and earned additional credits through American Military University.
