Latrell Bellard

Past President

Mr. Bellard earned his Bachelor’s degree from St. Edward’s University with a 3.75 GPA with a major in Banking Technology and with a minor in Finance. He is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, of which he received special recognition. He has also received Basic, Advanced and General Certificates from the American Institute of Banking and numerous continuing professional educational seminars and events.   He is the founder of Financial Services Group that is a diversified financial consultant firm which specializes in commercial credit placements, mergers, acquisitions, insurance programs, retirement plans and other strategic financial management services.  

Mr. Bellard’s previous employment includes: First Interstate Bank of Austin, Travis Bank and Trust, First City National Bank of Austin, and First City National Bank of Houston – all of which he served in leadership positions.  

He is a Charter Member, Past President & Paul Harris Fellow - University Area Rotary, Past Public Affairs - Past President & Director L. C. H. A, Founder of CCPB & COLA 2222, Past Director & First Vice President Austin Neighborhood Council, Past Public Affairs for the Military Service Coalition – Austin, and Past Central Texas Chapter member of the National Committee on Planned Giving. Mr. Bellard is the Author of FEAR & REALITY! A Vietnam war diary -July 2004 iUniverse. He has published numerous financial and other commentaries in magazines and newspapers.                                

Bellard served in the United States Army where he served in Korea, West Point and Vietnam.  He received several meritorious awards including the Silver Star, as well as the Army Commendation Award for high performance rating while in a command position.
